I can see others and they can see me, but I can't see the picture of myself on Teams. Heather MacKinnon. In reply to Heather MacKinnon's post on April 8, In my case, the solution was the simple one -- close down all applications and reboot the computer. I have not found any resolution although I think the issue might be resolved.

We did a check for update within teams to make sure there are no pending updates and restarted the PC. I have a hunch that it is a bug with one of the teams version, although I am not sure which version that user was on at the time.

If you use a built-in webcam on your laptop, does your laptop have a webcam cover?

Please make sure nothing covers your webcam. If MS Teams still has not detected your camera yet, have you tried unplugging your external webcam and plugging it back in? Linus Cansby based on this article it appears you can have the option to turn it off.

Linus Cansby Is there any way to suggest this feature to MS? It would be nice feature to just click "hide your own picture". If you're worried people forget their on video, then add some notification feature, and also I think you can give people some responsibility for their own actions.
